Friends, Customers, and Crape Myrtle
Lovers:
In addition to making this Crape Myrtle Web
Site educational we've tried to make it fun and visually rewarding. We use
many illustrative Crape Myrtle pictures and we strive to make each of
our Crapemyrtle Web Sites
uniquely different.
We would like to introduce
ourselves and our company by asking if you can remember those credit card
commercials from a few years ago called the "Do you know me
Commercials?"
The commercial would begin by reviewing the accomplishments of a person who
although you were very familiar with this person's accomplishments, you never
really knew who the person was or even what
that person looked like.
At the end of the commercial, you could put the face with the accomplishment
and then you would see this person's name being typed out on her/his
American Express card.
Well, our company, Mini Crape Myrtles, is
a lot like that commercial. Now whenever you see a Miniature Crepe Myrtle
somewhere, chances are we are the Hybridizers, Inventors, and holders of the
United States Patents for those True Miniature Weeping Crape Myrtles.
Now you can say when you see the
Miniature Crape Myrtles or even better when you purchase them from us
....hey...I know that company....they Invented the Miniature Crape Myrtles!
They're "Mini Crape Myrtles" . And we've been breeding True
Mini Crape Myrtles for over 25 years.
We hope you enjoy the experience viewing America's most
exciting and most
versatile new plant...the wonderful family of Lagerstroemia
Crape Myrtles and Our Exclusive New
United States Patented Mini Crape Myrtles.

According
to YAHOO! statistics this is the most popular
"crape myrtle" page anywhere.
It gets visitors from all over the world every single day.
Therefore it requires a lot of upkeep and tender loving care.
We like you to meet our Webmaster, shown exercising above.

Did you know Crape Myrtles can be grown in
all 50 states and most foreign countries?
In the last 5 years there were over 2 dozen
new Varieties of Crape Myrtle Trees, Dwarf Crepes and Miniature Crapes
introduced into the United States from Major Breeding and Hybridization Programs
in Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, California, North Carolina, and Washington,DC.
They can be grown as 40' Trees or novelty
8" Miniatures and varieties are cold hardy to -15F below zero and
even colder!
In Canada and far Northern States, the New
Miniatures can be grown in pots or hanging baskets during the Spring, Summer,
and Fall then, in December, moved to a sunny window or basement to overwinter.
How many plants did you plant this summer
that died at the end of summer or with the 1st frost? Not Crape Myrtles,
they're woody perennials that come back year after year and crape myrtles bloom from early May
to late October.
Crape Myrtles are not related to
the Myrtle Plants many of you are familiar with. The "Myrtle Plant" usually refers
to a Groundcover Plant.
Crape Myrtles refer to Woody, Perennial
Trees, Shrubs and Miniatures that are commonly seen from Virginia,
Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey moving south across Tennessee, Kentucky, and the
Carolinas, continuing to Florida, and all the way across the United States to Texas,
California, Oklahoma and as far north as Oregon and Washington State.
The Crape Myrtle is one of the most
versatile plants you can grow.
